Weather Delays - COVID-19 Procedures

Good morning golfers, To comply with the requirements in the CMOH orders, golf courses are required to have procedures in place to deal with weather events that may result in golfers having to leave the golf course all at once.  With a full golf course, we could have as many as 72 golfers leave the course at the same time, which would result in gatherings that would exceed the 15-person maximum.    Another weather event is frost delays.  These typically happen in the spring and fall, but if not addressed could result in gatherings of over 15 people very quickly.  I have included a link to the frost delay procedures as well. These procedures will only impact those golfers that book the first few tee times in the morning, as they were designed to limit the impact on the entire tee sheet. These procedures can also be found on the COVID-19 section on our webpage . We appreciate your patience and understanding since many changes to the "usual" way of conducting business at the golf club have been made, but we are dealing with very unusual circumstances.  It has been said many times by many people that we are in this together, and will get through this together.  Be kind to one another as this is a stressful time for many.  Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or concerns. Respectfully, Todd Read BSc. BSc. MBA General Manager Riverview Golf Club
