About Us

Nestled in the picturesque town of Redcliff, Alberta, Riverview Golf Club boasts breathtaking views of the South Saskatchewan River valley and is a must-visit destination for golfers of all ages and skill levels. With well-manicured fairways and fast greens, this 18-hole course provides an exciting and challenging golf experience that is enhanced by the stunning scenery and the possibility of encountering wildlife along the way.

The history of Riverview Golf Club is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the local residents and volunteers who have supported its growth over the past five decades. In the early days, the nine-hole course was run on an honor system and had rough grass fairways and sand greens. Despite these humble beginnings, the Board of Directors emphasized the importance of keeping prices affordable to attract a wide range of users. This commitment paid off when the front nine was modernized in 1981 with the help of 106 adult members and 30 student members and the Town of Redcliff. By 1988, the plans for expansion to the current 18-hole course were well underway, and by 1990, the back-nine was officially open, solidifying Riverview Golf Club’s status as a premier golf destination in the region.

Today, the family-friendly public course offers a range of amenities including a practice putting green, chipping area, 6-stall hitting cages, and a licensed clubhouse with indoor and outdoor dining options. With competitive pricing and an inviting atmosphere, Riverview Golf Club is an ideal choice for casual golfers and provides a beautiful and enjoyable golfing experience for players of all levels.
